Cindy Crawford More Beautiful from Cosmetic Surgery
Cindy Crawford, one of the world's top supermodels, recently revealed that she's been actively using cosmetic surgery for the past 11 years, starting when she was 29 years old.
Most everyone assumed that Cindy was just naturally gorgeous.
A London based magazine recently interviewed Cindy, a 40 year old mother of two, who described making regular trips to the doctor's office for Botox injections, vitamin injections, and collagen injections.
This is likely to win Cindy some praise and some criticism. Praise because she is definitely naturally attractive, and has been able to retain her good looks and supermodel status with some help. She is likely to also be criticized for her actions.
From my perspective, I think it's great that she is secure enough in herself to admit to the world that she's gotten some help with her good looks. It offers hope for the rest of us "non supermodel" folks, who no longer have to focus as heavily on an ideal of beauty that might be impossible to retain as we age.
Cindy's livelihood and earnings depend on her good looks. Botox, vitamin, and collagen injections were her form of insurance against making less money as she aged. Would any of us do less to protect our livelihoods?
