Mesotherapy- a cure for cellulite?

Mesotherapy is a technique that involves micro-injections of vitamins, supplements, minerals, and amino acids i the mesoderm (middle layer) of the skin.

Mesotherapy claims to solve the three reasons for cellulite's dimpled appearance: poor circulation, fatty deposits under the skin, and breakdown of connective tissue. With mesotherapy, the skin appears to flush out fat, undergo some connective tissue repair, and experience enhanced circulation; all of which, combined, contribute to a smoother appearance on the surface of the skin.

In the individual entry

During a mesotherapy treatment, the cocktail of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids is individually prepared for each patient, and then injected at very small intervals along the offending area(s). Once injected, the solution goes to work, flushing out fat cells, and repairing the connective tissue. Mesotherapy claims to permanently cure cellulite in about 10-15 treatments.

The cost of the treatment depends on the severity of the cellulite, the amount of ingredients in the cocktail, and the size of the treatment area.

If you are troubled by excessive cellulite and are looking for a cure, talk to your doctor to find out if mesotherapy is right for you.
